So for sledding we figured that if we spent a bunch of money, and drove who knows where with all of us dressed up like balloons...that the kids would hate it, be cold, and want to go home after 10 minutes. So this year we drove up the street to the Usana Amphitheater and trekked across the back lot to the big hills in the back. And while we were right..the kids complained, whined and even cried...we didn't spend any money or drive forever. It was perfect!
Of course Cade hated it...especially after Adam pushed him down the hill by himself. Oh, the little joys of being a parent. But the funny thing is that once he reached the bottom he wasn't crying anymore....huh...he liked it more than he thought he would...what a goofball. Abby hated it 100%. That's okay...Adam and I had a blast! And although we were only out there for maybe a half hour...it was a beautiful day and we had fun together!
How fun! There is a lot of snow too! I can't wait for Addie to be a little older so we can take her! Good times!
